About Me

Corinne Halbert: Chicago, IL, United States; Corinne Halbert was born in Anchorage Alaska in 1981. She spent most of her childhood growing up in suburbs of Massachusetts where she used much of her time to pump out wild, fantastic drawings from her imagination. Corinne did her undergraduate study at Massachusetts College of Art where she concentrated on Film/Video and graduated with an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008. Corinne has had her work shown at Ebers Moore, Gallery G2 and Project Space, Julius Caesar and Knock Knock Gallery in Chicago. She has had her film work play at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston and had work selected for “Sheets, Planes and Pulp: works on paper,” a juried show at the Evanston Art Center in 2007.
